Big Rig Sconce is a readymade utilizing semi-truck exhaust parts. The lamp takes the prefab pieces, meant to channel diesel emissions and repurposes them as light diffusers and reflectors. The light output and reflections are controlled manually by adjusting the position of the "rain flap" by hand, which dramatically alters its atmosphere. During a time of global controversy over the future of energy, the lamp is both a nod and subtle joke to the evolution of industry and perceived role of environmental politics. Without context however, it's also just a fun lamp!

The Angle Table Lamp is the first of our ongoing Stock Series, in which lamps are designed around readily available aluminum stock; tubes, angles, bars, etc. The Angle Table Lamp is made of a 3x3" aluminum angle as its shade, sitting atop a solid Sapele body, and aluminum plate base. The dimmer box is also custom made of die-cast aluminum, brass, and various LED lighting components, 2024.

Wedge Floor Lamp is one-off design made of wedge shaped solid Sapele, aluminum, glass, and various LED lighting components. The dimmer box is custom made of diecast aluminum and brass. The composition of the wedges simultaneously evoke a sense of compression and suspension as the lamp appears to stand in delicate balance. The "dishes" behind the globes are sandblasted glass and act as diffusers and reflectors, giving a warm and soft glow to the assembly, 2024.

The Square Tube Table Lamp is the second of our ongoing Stock Series, in which lamps are designed around readily available aluminum stock; tubes, angles, bars, etc. The Square Tube Table Lamp is made of a 3x3" aluminum tube as its shade, fastened to a solid Sapele body of the same width. The cord is a woven hemp rope, available with or without a an inline dimmer. The light source is a 2700K LED bulb, 2024.

Like it's predecessor, the Wedge Floor Lamp, the Wedge Table Lamp is one-off design made of wedge shaped solid Sapele, aluminum, glass, and various LED lighting components. The composition of the wedges simultaneously evoke a sense of compression and suspension as the lamp appears to stand in delicate balance. The warm glass globes, who's hardware is entirely concealed, seem to magically grow out of the wood.
